Ramsey County is a county located in Minnesota. The second-most populous county in Minnesota. Its county seat is St. Paul, which is also Minnesota’s state capital. The county was founded in 1849 and is named for Alexander Ramsey (W), the first governor of the Minnesota Territory.

Ramsey County was established on October 27, 1849, one of the original counties of the Minnesota Territory.

Within four months of signing the contract for deed, you must “record” it with the office of the county recorder or registrar of titles in the county in which the property is located. If you do not do so, you could face a fine.
